Interior Painting

Do you put off your next major painting project? Maybe you've been thinking of a new accent wall in the bedroom or a new color scheme in the kitchen, but you're not sure where to begin. Whether it's a modest endeavor at home or a large-scale commercial one, huge painting tasks can be intimidating and time-consuming. Stop worrying about drop cloths, tape, and endless cans of paint, let our courteous, uniformed crew do the task.

Interior painting and finishing is not only on the main rooms, the basement is part of the interior too! Basements are prone to moisture problems, so you'll need a product that can tolerate the extra wetness while also protecting the room from water damage. Our basement wall finishing products are specifically designed for this purpose and can withstand the extra humidity.

Basement Walls Finishing

Need to improve your basement walls but are concerned about the cost of redoing the entire basement? There's no reason to be concerned! There are numerous quick, low-cost items that may be quickly placed to change your basement without requiring a full refinish.

What works on the upper levels of your home may not work in the basement. Basements provide unique issues and are more vulnerable to moisture damage than upper floors. Each of our basement wall products is well-suited for a basement environment and works well in conjunction with other waterproofing systems to keep your basement dry and free of moisture damage.

First Steps for Interior Painting

  • Protect the Area

We use a fresh, clean piece of protective plastic sheeting to cover the furniture and floors. We also use drop cloths to cover your floors, making sure that every inch of the space is protected.

  • Prepare Surfaces

Our painters prepare the walls for interior painting by repairing any holes or cracks in the ceilings and walls, sealing any stains, and scuff sanding any uneven surfaces, including loose or old paint. This creates the smooth, clean canvas required for a stunning finish.

  • Apply New Paint

After priming any sections corrected in the previous stage, we apply premium quality paints for a consistent finish. There are several finish options available, including flat, matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss, and high-gloss, and we will go through the benefits of each with you ahead of time so you can make an informed decision. The time required will vary according to the magnitude of the job, but we will always work as swiftly and effectively as possible.

FAQs

  • How to finish a block basement?

Insulation, frame, and joint. Cut a vapor barrier fabric with a self-adhesive backing to put on the cinder block wall and stick to the blocks—Lay drywall panels. Lay a horizontal drywall board on the ceiling joists at the top corner of the wall as high as possible.

  • Do you paint the ceiling or walls first?

It's usually best to paint first. Without worrying about wasting paint (the result of spraying extra paint on the walls), you can effectively cover the surface with at least two coats.

  • Do you need special paint for bathrooms?

Therefore, you may not always need to buy specialized bathroom paint designed to prevent mold and mildew. Don't forget the good ventilation in the bathroom. Most bathrooms can be painted with modern paints such as acrylic eggshells or matte paint; however, this depends on how often they get wet.
